Proposed New Office Building

An information day has been organised at the Bay View Shopping Centre on Saturday 16 January, 9.30am – 4.30pm where you will have an opportunity to view the draft detail design proposals of the new proposed office building in Colwyn Bay and to express your views in advance of a planning application being made. Members of the development team will be available to answer any of your questions.

The proposed office building located at Conway Road, Coed Pella Road and Lansdowne Road will be a base for around 750 Conwy County Borough Council staff. A separate planning application for a new surface car park at Parc Eirias will also be submitted separately.

As well as allowing the Council to close a number of its ageing and inefficient office buildings, the project will create further inward investment into Colwyn Bay. Following completion of the new office building in summer 2018, work will start on redeveloping the Civic Offices site. This development will be subject to a separate planning application at a later date.
