Introduction

We are working with architects and the building owners on plans for the regeneration and restoration of this key historic building. The project has already uncovered the building’s interesting past. Please follow below for the latest project updates:

July 2017

The scaffolding has been removed. The repairs done include repairs to roof, stone work and brickwork repointed. Rain water gutter repaired and renewed where necessary with cast iron.

We are now awaiting a new traditional shop fronts. This is on order and will begin at the end of summer.

April 2017

The project at Matthew and Sons has started, with scaffolding going up between 2-12 Conway Road, from Cancer Research and Pound Plus. Various external repairs will be undertaken.
